10 Tips on German Culture

If you are planning on spending some time in Germany, HERE are 10 things to avoid so as not to offend people. I think I may have broken all 10 out of ignorance.

These are great. I got a kick out of them, especially the one about sending greetings to everyone in the house of the person you are talking to on the phone!
And of course when eating at a table, keep both hands on the table in plain view..:-)
This is great. The first one explains what happened to me at a doctor’s appointment here in Berlin a few weeks ago. I remember thinking it was strange that people were saying good morning to everyone. I just figured they knew each other and I had no idea it was a cultural thing. I’ll keep it in mind for next time.
